Another member of the dreaded Boko Haram sect allegedly confessed at Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua’s church today, stating that he was being paid N2,000,000 to bomb churches.

Nearing the end of the service, during the time Joshua’s ‘Wise Men’ were minisring ‘deliverance’ to people, an aggressive young man dressed in a shabby suit was ushered forward.

“I am one of the Boko Haram,” the man declared to the wise man, clearly under an unusual influence.“They said they would give me N2,000,000 if I went to blow up a church,” the man continued upon questioning as to how he joined the infamous group of insurgents. “Every church would be N2,000,000. They said would be give me big house and a wife.”

A multi-cultural solidarity campaign was held at the University of Bayreuth, Germany on the 7^th of May 2014. The solidarity campaign was conducted to press home demands for the release of the over 200 Nigerian girls adopted by the terrorist group, Boko Haram.

Nigerian Immigration Services reacts to Davido's claims of harrassment by their officers

A few days ago, Davido tweeted that he missed his flight to London because of immigration officers who were harassing him at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja because of money. The Nigerian Immigration Service has responded to Davido's claims.

In a statement released today by the NIS Public Relations Officer, Emeka Obua, they said Davido had approached immigration officers at MMIA on the fateful day with the intention of travelling out of the country and presented a US passport number 460918874 issued at Georgia on Dec. 14,  2009 and valid till December 14, 2019.

It explained that the officer that attended to him drew his attention to the fact that his US passport had no Nigerian visa on it with which he would have been admitted into the country, and Davido reportedly responded that he had a Nigerian passport but forgot it at home. Continue reading...

Former British Tennis Top Player Elena Baltacha Dies of liver cancer

Born in Ukraine and raised in Scotland, Baltacha revealed she had the illness in March.Former British number one tennis player Elena Baltacha has died of liver cancer, aged 30.

According to BBC Baltacha, who was British number one for nearly three years, retired from the sport in 2013.

Baltacha learned she had liver cancer in mid-January 2014, two months after retiring from professional tennis and only a few weeks after marrying."We are heartbroken beyond words at the loss of our beautiful, talented and determined Bally," said husband Nino Severino. Continue reading->

U.S vows To assist Nigeria In the very Fight Against Boko Haram

The U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry vowed that Washington would do “everything possible” to help Nigeria deal with Boko Haram insurgents, following the kidnapping of over 230 schoolgirls.

Kerry stated this during the official visit to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on May 3, 2014, Saturday.

Charly Boy's dad, Justice Chukwudifu Oputa has passed on. The former judge of the Supreme Court and Chairman, Oputa Panel, passed on peacefully yesterday Sunday May 4th after recovering from a brief illness, the family announced this afternoon. He was aged 89.

Their official wedding date is May 24th, but Life & Style is reporting that Kim and Kanye west have already tied the knot quietly.

It was reported earlier this week they would be getting their wedding license over the coming days, ahead of the official ceremony which is rumored to be taking place in Paris on May 24.

Now, a source tells Life & Style Kim and Kanye are officially Mr. and Mrs. West. “Kim and Kanye are now married legally. They got their license in California over the past few days," the source said. "Kim and North are on their way to New york city now."

Majek Fashek finally opens up by saying he doesn't use drugs, but what happened to him is 'home trouble'

Nigerian Reggae star and legend Majek Fashek was a guest on Rubbin Minds today and he addressed a few issues. When host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked him if the tales of him using drugs is true and is responsible for his career crash, Majek said he never did drugs, that what happened to him is what Africans called home trouble

"I never did drugs. My life was just affected by home trouble" he said.

He also said his problem is spiritual. Majek said that he's currently working on an album which he would  release sometime in June.

Aftermath of May Day bombing: Goodluck Ebele Jonathan summons Service Chiefs

President Goodluck Jonathan has summoned Service Chiefs to an extraordinary security meeting following yesterdays bombing in Nyanya Abuja killing 19 people and leaving several injured. The meeting according to the President's spokesperson, Reuben Abati, is ongoing at the moment. Didn't they have a security meeting after the last Nyanya bombing? God help us in this country!

Meanwhile, the Nigerian police have confirmed that 19 people lost their lives yesterday. Too sad!!

Chibok schoolgirls: Nigeria police, SSS say at least 276 still missing. Shit!!!

According to Premium Times, the Police Command in Borno state and the State Security Service (SSS) yesterday May 1st had a joint press conference at the headquarters of the Borno State Police Command where they stated that the actual number of missing girls is 276 and not 234 as earlier reported and could even be more.

 

Speaking at the press conference yesterday, the Borno state Police Commissioner, Tanko Lawan said the figure they have is the authentic number as they have carefully gone round the Chibok village and its environ to collate the names of girls that have gone missing since April 14th when the school was attacked by the Boko Haram men. Singer Future says it didn't take him long to have sex with Ciara
