American woman kidnapped in Kogi state

An American missionary worker has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Kogi state. According to the spokesperson of the Kogi state Police command, Mr Sola Colins, the kidnapped woman who's an American citizen was kidnapped inside her school premises at about 10am yesterday February 23rd.

"She was whisked away at around 10:00 am (0900 GMT) Monday. The kidnappers were "unknown gunmen...(who) came into the school premises shooting sporadically to scare away people before taking (the hostage) away into the bush" he said.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) must apologise for lying to Nigerians on the health status of its presidential candidate, Major General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd), using pictures taken in Transcop Hilton, Abuja and claiming that the pictures were taken in London.

Fayose said "it was interesting that the loquacious APC Spokesperson, Lai Mohammed could develop a cold feet and muscle pull in his mouth such that he suddenly realised that he could not join issues with Fayose."

One of Rivers state Gov. Rotimi Amaechi's aides kidnapped

One of the aides of Rivers state Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, Mr Fred Ndigbara has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen. According to reports, Mr Ndigbara, a staff of the Press Unit of the Government House was kidnapped during the APC rally in in Kanani 1 community in Khana local government area of Rivers State yesterday February 22nd.

The Gunmen burst into the venue of the campaign rally, interupted proceedings and then took away Mr Ndigara into a waiting Toyota vehicle. When contacted, the states police public relations officer (PPRO), DSP Ahmad Muhammad confirmed the incident, and said the police has begun a search for the governor's aide and also apprehend the kidnappers. We hope the NPF find the kidnappers and rescue Mr Fred Ndigbara

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has said that the hope of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to seize power in Nigeria, using Major General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd) will be dashed saying; "Buhari will never be Nigeria president again."

The governor also challenged Buhari to swear by the Holy Quran that he did not visit hospital in the United Kingdom last week.

MTV reality star and actor Markice Moore attempts suicide.....

Markice Moore starred in Walking Dead after getting his start on MTV's reality show, "From G's to Gents."

Markice attempted to commit suicide this week and according to TMZ, he explained why in a video.  Markice was found unresponsive at his Woodland Hills home on Tuesday Feb. 17th by friends. He'd overdosed on a deadly mix of Xanax and Patron. In the video he left behind which is in possession of law enforcement, Markice, who is also a rapper, outlined his plan to end his life, telling his two kids why he wanted to take such a drastic measure, before swallowing the pills.

Moore was rushed to the hospital and placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold. He has since been released and is undergoing therapy.

He said; "as against the claim of the APC that Buhari was on a short working visit to the UK, Buhari is being treated at a hospital located at Cavendish Street, Cavendish Square, W2 London West End, London."

Wiz Khaifa is trying all means to get custody of his son Sebastine with Amber Rose and it looks like he is doing all he can now to make Amber look like an unfit mom so that he can win court case. He released photos of her home to TMZ, claiming that it's dirty and unsafe for a 1year old to live in.

Things that must not be done on the day of Nigerian Election.

The government has decreed that the following actions must not be done on the day of election since they are punishable under the law.

1: Electoral candidates must not appear at the voting scene on a siren, as it might threaten the security of the people
2: Electoral candidates or whosoever are strictly prohibited to encourage anyone at the voting scene to vote for one political party or the other. Voters are encouraged to vote for whosoever they please and no to be convinced to vote for one political party or the other.
3: Electoral candidate or any voter must shun violence on that day.

Anyone found guilty of such offences is liable to either 6 months in jail or pay a sum of N100,000 as fine. That's the latest news on the upcoming Election for now. We are gonna keep you updated. Stay tunned!

Why is race still an issue? Will it ever end? Sadly racism is still predominant in some white countries. A recent report talks about racism in sport. To be specific, a report about racism in sport was talked about when a white Chelsea fan  pushed a black Chelsea fan away when he want's to  get on the same train with the white Chealsea fan. Reports of violence were even recorded. Should things always continue like this? We don't want things to continue like this. We want peace. We should all say No to racism. Hope the issue of racism in sport get resolved by FIFA.

Zimbabwean president, Robert Mugabe will turn 91 years old on Feb. 21st and the country's ruling party, Zanu PF is planning to host a $1million birthday jamboree to celebrate him just as they did last year when he turned 90.

According to an official of the ruling party, Tongai Kasukuwere who spoke with Zimbabwean media, the party had raised 60% of the money needed for the birthday jamboree which is expected to be hosted at the luxirious resort town of Victoria Falls.
