Rihanna is to receive an CFDA Fashion Icon award for her mad fashion skills and influence on pop-culture fashion.
Riri, 26-year-old singer, fashion designer, is set to receive the award on June 2nd in New York.
According to the Council of Fashion Designers of America, the award of such level is given to a person whose style has made a significant impact on pop culture around the world.
"We are proud to present Rihanna with the CFDA Fashion Icon Award for her impact on the industry as fashion's most exciting ambassador in recent memory", Steven Kolb, CEO of the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
